Clean Water Grants Applications Available for Boater Education Projects

Each year, the Boat U.S. Foundation ( )  awards local nonprofit
organizations up to $4,000 each for the  promotion of clean boating education. Over the past
six years the  foundation has awarded almost $100,000 in grants to local community organizations, yacht clubs, flotillas, and squadrons for  innovative projects that teach boaters  how to reduce their impact  on the waters they use for boating. Topics can range from petroleum pollution prevention to pumpout education to keeping trash  out of waterways.
To be eligible for grant funding, an organization must be volunteer and nonprofit.
